Tenley Grace

Miss Tenley Grace is such an adorable chica! I love spending time with this kiddo as well as with her mom, one of my oldest friends! Although we didn't have much time we did get some cute pics in! Even though it was so bitterly cold, bed time, and night was on us, we still had fun.

Dooling Family

I had a lot of fun working with this family. I was honored when Kim asked me to take their families pictures. I know how serious she takes her portraits (has beautiful portraits of the kids, as they have gotten older). Really enjoyed the weather, the company, and the smiling faces my camera got to capture.

Hertzberg Crew

This is one of my favorite families. One day they just asked me to take some quick photos of their family. Unfortunately it was nearly dark outside and we only had about 5 minutes before everyone had to be somewhere else. This is what we came up with, under "not the best" conditions!

Enjoy!

Picture Time

Last Sunday I had the great oppotunity to hang out with the dear Dooling Family and take family pictures of this fun group! Growing up with the brothers it was an honor to be working for them. Pictures are coming soon!

Kim's August wedding has some great pictures as well, look forward to those.

So this weekend I should have a big updated post with lots of images!

Behind, new equipment, and prices....

Update for the fall:

I feel incredibly behind. I need to finish a few more wedding pictures (editing) as well as post/give David his family pictures. Between school and starting a family I feel out of sync.... or just too tired to look at a computer screen editing for hours on end; like I use to be able to.

On top of feeling like I'm in a funk I've come to the conclusion that I either need A)new camera lens B)new camera body or C) A and B. After looking over pictures from the wedding I just shot I was not satisfied with the images. It might be the fact that the wedding was very low maintenance, simple, beautiful. I only took 175ish pictures. I normally take 500 plus at a wedding; I even take 200 for a senior shoot. So maybe the selection was not as open. Regardless I felt as if the pictures were not as good of quality as I hoped/wanted. The results were not of my normal quality.

I'm sharing this information with my clients (that are far and few between) to inform you that I want you to pay for what I can produce. If someone provides me with a new lens for a photo shoot than I will just be peachy.

Prices.....
I am always running 'specials' from my website. And at the time the prices on my website did in fact reflect what I was charging or could charge. But I am going to update those. I am still, and always will be, willing to work with my clients to find a price or a package that best suits your needs. SOOO if the prices you see are something that 'scare you away' please inquire what you are looking for. I am always willing to make a deal.

Well. That's it for now. Hope everyone had a great summer and I will (this week) finish up editing. I HAVE to!!!
